Our Vision

A Thriving, Educated, Healthy, and Hopeful Community

Transformational Statement

Where and how we live, work, play, and learn directly affects the health and well-being of everyone in our community. It is this awareness that led to the formation of Elbert Partners for Health (EPH), a group of individuals and organizations who envision an Elbert County that is healthy in all senses of the word. Our members are working together to improve the overall quality of life of our citizens, because we believe that each one deserves an opportunity to thrive.
As a community-based non-profit, we seek to increase awareness and utilization of available services and resources, as well as to educate our community about the effects of poverty on any individual’s health and well-being. We strive to meet people where they are and connect them to services that will educate, empower, and enable them to make the best decisions they can for themselves and their families.
Our current focus is on nutrition, food security, substance abuse prevention, mental health, and educational success. We will continue to identify and address a variety of factors that affect the quality of life for our residents, because we firmly believe that physical health is much more attainable when all members of our community are also healthy financially, spiritually, socially, and emotionally.
